| . | It can be a challenge to keep my teaching and my personal photography in balance. Teaching workshops in remarkably beautiful and stimulating environments has proven to be the answer. But this past year I took a break from teaching in order to concentrate on builiding a house — a perfect getaway — on the shores of Lago Carrera in Patagonia with my husband, digital designer and poet, Lito Tejada0Flores.
I have a special spot in my heart for what has become my annual Photo Safaris to Patagonia — photo trips that I have developed and fine-tuned over the past six years. And I must say I am looking forward to once again sharing this magical landscape with a new group of photo friends in 2009.
